This course teaches you more about the layout of the mbira, tuning, how it is played and you also learn to play three well-known Zimbabwean mbira songs: Chemutengure, Karigamombe and Taireva. This is the first course in the mbira course series taught by mbira player and maker Dingiswayo Juma. Level 1 provides the foundational mbira playing knowledge and skills for the level 2 and level 3 courses (coming soon).
